| July 26 -- Stony Creek Time Trial (MMBA CPS Race #5) |
|
 Ten racers represented Cannondale Midwest at this 13-mile event on a sometimes sunny, sometimes rainy Sunday at the Stony Metropark. Mark Todd hit the trail first for CMR, followed by sport riders Joe, Tim, Shawn, Mark Hoinka, Jen, and Ginger. Oliver headed off next, and single-speeders Bernie and Reid took off in the final race grouping. Trail conditions were great; thanks, Tailwind, for the extra work to keep racers safe after all that rain that came down this week! The Stony TT tradition of two creek crossings was preserved, but the second crossing was relocated to a shallower spot in the water.
The CMR fan club was in full force too. Steve was there early, and the Wissman family (minus Brian in Mexico), Nikki, and the Learys came out as well. All in all, a big Cannondale Midwest Racing turnout!
And on the podium...Ginger, Shawn, Tim and Jen each brought home a medal. ~ J. Hoinka
